Angela Tomazos

Born and raised in Darwin , Angela’s parents arrived here from Greece in the 1960’s.  Angela has worked in banking and finance for over 28 years.  With her entire career in Darwin, Angela was the first female local leader for NAB in Northern Territory challenging the norm and encouraging career pathways in regional locations.

Currently the Managing Partner for NAB Regional & Agribusiness for the Northern Territory, Angela is passionate about enabling and empowering the entrepreneurial spirit in her home town.

Angela’s experience is specifically in the fields of Leadership in Business and Specialised Banking including Development and Delivery of Strategy, Enhancing Market Presence, Risk Management and People Leadership and Direction.

Angela is currently Director of Policy and Vice President of the Australian Federation Business & Professional Women (BPW).

Angela’s active participation and dedication to women’s economic empowerment led to a new opportunity in 2018 to join Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network (CBW) Executive Management team and was appointed joint Chief Operating Officer.  CBW is an accredited organisation with the Commonwealth Secretariat focused on women’s leadership and economic empowerment with representatives across 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

Most recently Angela was personally awarded the 2019 Telstra Northern Territory Businesswomen’s Medium & Large Business Award Winner.

Angela’s previous community roles include invited Board Member with Casuarina Senior College and sub-committee member for Greek Orthodox Community Greek School for 5 years.
