Since 2014, the annual HACCI International Women’s Day Special event has been constantly growing in strength, reach and impact, becoming one of the chamber's key activities.
Each year, we are proud to welcome a group of remarkable people, and take part in a very deep and urgent discussion, touching sensitive and timely issues affecting women in all walks of life.
Despite decades of advocacy, dialogue and action, women continue to face inequality and discrimination in a world where the scales remain uneven.
This year, IWD 2026 under the theme, “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls” (designated by UN Women), brings that reality into sharp focus, calling for action to dismantle the structural barriers to equal justice: discriminatory laws, weak legal protections, and harmful practices and social norms that erode the rights of women and girls.
